About The CNA Guide

About The CNA Guide

The CNA Guide started with a simple observation: CNAs deserve better resources. Licensing rules change from state to state, training program quality varies wildly, and the information available online is often outdated, incomplete, or buried behind paywalls. We built The CNA Guide to fix that.

Today, we’re one of the most comprehensive free resources for Certified Nursing Assistants in the United States. Our site covers CNA training programs, a free study guide and practice tests for exam prep, state licensing and reciprocity, a curated agencies directory, travel CNA opportunities, and career advancement, all built around accurate, state-specific information that CNAs can actually use.

What We Believe

CNAs are the backbone of patient care in this country. They show up every day in hospitals, nursing homes, and home health settings doing work that is physically demanding, emotionally complex, and essential. The least they deserve is a reliable place to find the information they need to get certified, stay licensed, and grow their careers.

That’s why every core resource on this site is free. We don’t think career information should be locked behind a paywall.

How We Work

We collaborate with healthcare professionals, CNA training programs, staffing agencies, and career services partners to keep our information accurate and current. Every state guide is verified against official sources. Program data is researched and updated regularly. When we can’t confirm something, we say so rather than guess.

We only recommend services and partners we believe genuinely benefit CNAs. Helpful information comes first, always.
