RapidStaff
Staffing agencyAbout RapidStaff
RapidStaff is the strike, crisis, and disaster response division of TotalMed Holdings, deploying CNAs alongside RNs, respiratory therapists, allied health professionals, and ancillary support staff to facilities facing healthcare labor disruptions, natural disasters, and emergency surges.
CNAs working with RapidStaff need a state CNA license and at least one year of uninterrupted specialty experience. Assignments fall into two main types: short strike or job action coverage that often lasts just a few days, and crisis assignments with a two-week minimum that may extend longer. Workers are W-2 employees with weekly pay.
For strike assignments, RapidStaff arranges flights or mileage reimbursement, books private housing, and provides courtesy transportation between hotel and facility. Pay rates are typically higher than traditional travel work given the urgency and short notice. Family members and pets cannot accompany workers on assignment.
