U.S. Nursing

U.S. Nursing, also known as USN, is a strike-replacement staffing agency that has provided emergency clinical coverage during healthcare labor disputes for more than 35 years. Headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado, USN is part of the Ingenovis Health network alongside Trustaff, Fastaff, and HealthTrust Workforce Solutions.

For CNAs, USN runs short-term, high-intensity assignments tied to active or potential strikes. Typical schedules are 5 shifts of 12 hours, totaling 60 hours per week, with day, mid, and night options. Recent recruitment has covered California, Oregon, Washington, the Mid-Atlantic, and other regions where labor actions are pending.

This is not traditional travel work. Assignments can be activated on short notice and end when the labor dispute resolves. Pay is set at premium rates with travel and expenses covered, and CNAs need an active license plus BLS certification to qualify.
